IPAM uses Avila Business Centers' digital marketing success case 
The performance of this physical and virtual offices centre on its relation with the media and with social networks was approached in the discipline of Digital Marketing Plan on the Digital Marketing Post Graduation in the Portuguese Institute of Administration and Marketing.
Lisbon 26th July 2011 - The Avila Business Centers, company of turnkey physical work spaces for renting and leader in the virtual offices business was the company choose for a Case Study on the IPAM (Portuguese Institute of Administration and Marketing).

The Avila Business Centers was selected as a case study for the Digital Marketing discipline of IPAM Digital Marketing Post Graduation. Among other topics was analyzed the social media and digital marketing strategy of the company, which has highlighted itself on the business centres and virtual offices area, since it adopted an integrated online communication model, which includes a daily plan of Social Media Communication with emphasis on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
The students of this subject also had to analyze how to manage a quarterly communication plan close to online media, clients, potential clients and partners: press releases publication, newsletters and mail shots with articles and news from the Avila Business Centers activity area.
Another area focused by this study had to do with the Avila Business Centers services disclosure and the eOffice network through the myOffice application present on the Apple app Store and on the Android Market, as well as the company’s presence on Facebook and Twitter.
According to Carlos Gonçalves, this IPAM initiative represents the “recognition of Avila Business Centers’ work and the bet on digital marketing, which has been a major gain”.
The CEO of this office centre recalls also other aspects which contribute to Avila Business Centers recognition: “This is only possible do to competent partners; not only in communication advisory, but also on the mobile applications area we are developing, where Avila is already considered an international reference on the virtual offices domain.”
According to the responsible of the discipline of Digital Marketing Plan on Lisbon’s IPAM, Avila Business Centers’ choice “allowed analyzing the digital marketing application on a broader sense, from social networks to the more traditional communication channels like blogs and newsletters".
Remember that Avila Business Centers had already been recognized by their work, with an invitation to participate in the Tech Media Europe event (January 2011), one of the major European initiatives on the technological innovation domain, where the myOffice application was presented.

Avila Business Centers opens a franchising network 
The national company, expert in physical and virtual offices renting predicts the opening of the first centre in Oporto until the end of the year. In 2012 are to be followed Madeira and Luanda.

Avila Business Centers launches video podcasts in iTunes 
The physical and virtual offices company opens another Web based communication channel now on the Apple iTunes store, with free subscription of podcasts.
Lisbon, 18th July 2011 – The Avila Business Centers, company of turnkey physical work spaces for renting and leader in the virtual offices business, reinforced its communications with clients, partners and the public in general with the availability of a podcast channel in the famous iTunes store from Apple.

With this entry on the iTunes, the Avila Business Centers becomes the first Office center at a worldwide level to launch regularly free video podcasts on this platform, which has around 225 million users registered with credit card.
“The importance of the video in our daily lives is now fundamental. Avila Business Centers creates franchise Set-Up
The national company specialist in physical and virtual offices rental developed a new concept meant to support start up franchised companies.
Lisbon, 9th May – The Avila Business Centers, a company of turnkey physical work spaces renting and leader in the virtual offices business, has just created a new brand to support start up franchisees: the Franchise Set-Up. This product, based in a virtual office, is oriented towards franchised companies which do not need a permanent physical space, at least when beginning of their activity.
The Franchise Set-Up is a low-cost solution which allows, with monthly amounts between 65 and 85 Euros + VAT, to immediately start-up the business (with services activation within 24 hours), using a prestige address in Avenida da República in Lisbon, meeting and work rooms, personalized telephone answering, access to a contacts management online platform and correspondence reception.
The new Franchise Set-Up packages include one month discount facing the conventional modalities of virtual Office and do not compel the client to any contract loyalty. Avila Business Centers develops a Pioneer application for Android
Lisbon, 30th March 2011 – Avila Business Center (a company that manages Office Centers and Virtual Offices solutions) has just made available the version of its myOffice app for smartphones with Android operating system.

The myOffice app is the first worldwide application for physical and virtual offices developed exclusively for mobile platforms and it’s available since today in the Android Market. The application was developed in partnership with WATERDOG mobile, a national company with offices in Oporto and in Lisbon, and it will be free of charge for all Avila Business Centers’ clients, being also available a demo version in the Android Market.
myOffice application allows professionals to have real time information of telephone contacts, correspondence arrival and fax notifications as well as access to one hundred European Business Centers belonging to the eOffice network, represented in Portugal by Avila Business Centers.
Through this functionality, users may visualize on Google Maps the Business Centers location, and make online reservations of meeting rooms, offices and virtual offices, besides being able to demand for information on other services.
In the informative area of the app were introduced contents about the Avila Business Centers as well as the myOffice International Network, whose launch is previewed for May 2011.
Besides the myOffice for Android, the Avila Business Centers is also developing a mobile site, to allow the access from other smartphones, namely the Blackberry terminals.

The Avila Corporate Club – Workshops & Networking Events is going to be a privileged place for Avila Business Centers’ clients to exchange contacts and share business experiences.
Lisbon, 10th March 2011 – The Avila Business Centers, a company of turnkey physical work spaces renting and leader in the virtual offices business, is going to start, on the next Monday, 14th March, a series of workshops which are going to happen together with the launch of the brand Avila Corporate Club - Workshops & Networking Events.
The first one is going to be subordinated to the theme Corporate Communications 3.0: LinkedIn & 4 G and it will be ministered by Ricardo Andorinho, CEO from MBU Intelligence, a company with its head office in one of Avila Business Centers’ offices. This workshop will take place in the TB Store auditorium (Avenida 5 de Outubro, 26B), an Apple Premium Reseller store, between 10 and 13 hours.
The Avila Corporate Club translates itself in a set of free training initiatives with an entrepreneurship networking component, intended to clients and partners of ABC. These workshops are innovating in Portugal, since there isn’t a Business Center developing this kind of initiatives.
The idea came from the fact that Avila Business Centers have currently 300 clients from different professional activities, being able to provide to them business synergies opportunities through an informal networking, on a workshop environment. Accordingly to Carlos Gonçalves, Avila Business Centers’ CEO, this kind of initiative “makes all sense in this economic recession context and need of exchange of contacts and promotions among companies”.

myOffice app updated and compatible with iOS 4.3
Launched in October 2010, the exclusive and pioneer application from Avila Business Centers comes now with new functionalities to create an even bigger interactivity with users.
Lisbon, 10th March – The Avila Business Centers, a company of turnkey physical work spaces renting and leader in the virtual offices business, announced the updating of the myOffice free app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The myOffice, now in the 1.5 version, is totally compatible with the iOS 4.3, the next release of the Apple mobile platform.

In relation to the previous version, this new release grants myOffice of information about the 100 European Business Centers belonging to the eOffice International network, represented in Portugal by Avila Business Centers. Through this functionality, users my visualize in Google Maps the location of the Business Centers, as well as make online reservations of meeting rooms, offices and virtual offices, besides demanding information on other services.
The myOffice 1.5 version also has the useful Push Notifications, allowing clients to receive notifications in real time on the iPhone screen, iPod touch or iPad, even when the application is inactive.
In the informative area of the app, were also introduced two institutional videos about the Avila Business Centers as well as information about the myOffice International Network, whose official launch is preview for May 2011.
This app continues to be totally free and has a demo version without usage limit, allowing a non client user to know the application in detail. This functionality enables these users to receive notifications of eventual promotions and warnings about the adhesion of new Business Centers to the International Network.

myOffice recognized in a European technological event
Avila Business Centers application for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touc,h which allows the management of an Office at a distance, is going to be in the spotlight at the Tech Media Europe.
Lisbon, 25th January– The myOffice app, developed by the national company SwipeTwice, for Avila Business Centers, was selected to participate in the technological event Tech Media Europe, happening in Oporto in the next day’s 2 and 3 of February. Organized together with the private organization Europe Unlimited, which supports projects focused on innovating Technologies, by the Portuguese Association for the Development of the Communities and by Porto Digital, the Tech Media Europe is one of the main technological events for the corporate sector that happens in Europe.

The myOffice app was selected among other 35 other European projects and it’s going to be presented during this congress to a panel composed by financial investors from the technological entrepreneurship area. Launched in October 2010, the myOffice platform assumes itself as the first of the kind at a worldwide level, allowing the management in real time of a physical or virtual Office from an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Espaço Ávila Business Center renews corporate image
The company of entrepreneurship work spaces renting and virtual offices solutions is now named as Avila Business Centers and adopts a new logotype.
Lisbon, 12th January – The Espaço Ávila Business Center, a company of turnkey physical work spaces renting for companies and leader in the virtual offices business, entered the market in 2011 with a renewed corporate image, namely with the adoption of a new logotype, a new slogan and the change in the company’s designation, which is now named as Avila Business Centers.

The Avila Business Centers wants, with this identity renewal, to reinforce the brand internationalization strategy. Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of the Avila Business Centers, explains the motifs of this decision: «The Word “Espaço” is withdrawn due to two factors: the company is more and more turned to the international market, being this term difficult to pronounce for foreigners. The second aspect has to do with the fact that, currently, the Avila Business Centers offers not only work spaces for company, but mainly support services focused on the virtual Office, where it assumes as innovation leader in this area ». Lisbon, 20th October 2010 – Avila Business Center (a company that manages Office Centers and Virtual Offices solutions) developed the first worldwide virtual offices application to the iPhone.

Known as myOffice, this is the first worldwide application developed exclusively to the iPhone and oriented, specifically, to the virtual Office activity. The application was developed in partnership with a technological Portuguese company, SwipeTwice, based in Oporto, free of charge for all Avila Business Center’s clients, being able to download it through the App Store.
myOffice application will allow professionals to have real time information of telephone contacts, correspondence arrival notifications and other functionalities, namely at a location and contacts from other business centres of the eOffice international network level, represented in Portugal by Avila Business Center.
Through the application it may be demanded information by email or telephone about the services paid by the Business Centers, as well as scheduling meetings, offices reservations and virtual offices hire.
Besides myOffice for the iPhone, Avila Business Center is also developing a Mobile Site, to allow the access from other smartphones, namely the Blackberry and Nokia.
This project was developed after a study made to 250 Avila Business Center’s clients companies, among which 82% have a favourable opinion in relation to these applications, showing the utility these technologies represent nowadays to companies and the opening of them for the innovation of their work processes.
Avila Business Center wants with this new product, to try to give a more effective answer to the companies’ needs that are in constant mobility, being an effective solution for professionals working in a telework regime, for freelancers and for organizations geographically spread and that have adopted a virtual Office in the centre of Lisbon.
